Well, I had a wonderful day today in my ol' neck of the woods in Newark. Went to a cake supply store to prepare for Nathan's birthday. One of my favorite gifts that I have always given my children is an awesome cake.
Robin and her Mom went along and I think that they liked it as much as I did. I haven't been there for 12 years but everything was the same. The bakery across the street was JUNK! I have become a bakery snob but this place was GROSS! I am so fortunate to work in such a great place. They put decorators sugar on top of the eclairs and they were cut in half. HORRORS!
Robin's husband was wonderful enough to watch Maggie and Nathan (THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!) so I wouldn't ruin Nathan's surprise and because Matt and Randy are on a hiking trip, (yes in the three feet of snow...) I know what you are thinking but today I don't care and I get to sleep like a big fat X tonight!!
I do miss my men..... That terrible saying, "You can't live with them, you can't live without them.". So I am always screwed.
I went to the book store and to A ghetto walmart. Now to bed.
